The nonprofit organization Vitrina Solidaria is inviting people to celebrate Valentine’s Day in the El Yunque National Forest this week and support entrepreneurs by purchasing gifts at the Yocahú and Cabaña La Coca stores, which will have a special sale.
The sale will include local products from entrepreneurs participating in Vitrina Solidaria’s entrepreneurship and business acceleration programs, which are on display at the two stores located on PR-191 in Río Grande, near the Yocahú Tower and the emblematic La Coca waterfall attractions.
“We invite people to give something different this Valentine’s Day,” Vitrina Solidaria Executive Director Raquel Skerrett Escalera said Tuesday. “What better way to enjoy our natural resources while supporting local entrepreneurs who, with so much love, produce exclusive pieces for the delight of consumers.”
She added that during this Valentine’s week, people who say “El Yunque makes you fall in love” when visiting stores will be able to benefit from a variety of discounts on selected products.
