Aguadilla to celebrate 69 years of ELA Constitution

As part of this week’s celebration of 69 years of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico (ELA by its Spanish acronym) Constitution, a series of forums and activities will be held in Aguadilla on issues related to justice and social inequity, rights of women, government reforms and poverty, among other topics.
The schedule of activities will begin today and will culminate on Sunday with the official celebration of ELA Constitution Day at the Paseo Real Marina de Aguadilla at 5:30 p.m., where the main speaker will be Senate President José Luis Dalmau Santiago.
The calendar of events will begin with a presentation by Mayor Julio Roldán and a panel of legislators on the agenda and strategic projects for the next four years in the island’s western region. The forum will take place at 1 p.m. at the Courtyard Hotel in Aguadilla.
Additional forums, on social justice struggles, a balanced budget and women’s rights, among other topics, will also be held.
