Aguas Buenas Christmas Festival kicks off Friday

Aguas Buenas will begin its Christmas activities Friday with a light show around the entire town center and square, a dressed-for-the-season town hall and live artistic performances.

Aguas Buenas Mayor Karina Nieves Serrano announced Monday the list of activities for the celebration of the Christmas Festival that will take place from Friday, Nov. 17 to Sunday, Nov. 19 in the Luis A. Ferré public square.

The municipality will kick off its Christmas activities with a light show around the entire town center and the square, the town hall decorated with Christmas cards and a tunnel of stars. Talented artisans from Aguas Buenas and a variety of artistic performances and activities for children will make the festival one for the whole family to enjoy.

“We have organized this great festival to share the joy of this season,” the mayor said. “My call to all our citizens and to neighboring towns: visit our square and enjoy these unique moments to share with family, maintaining the traditions that unite us so much as a people.”

Performances will start at 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and on Sunday, Children’s Day activities will kick off at 12:30 p.m.
