Body found in Yauco neighborhood

The body of a man was found at around 9:05 a.m. Saturday on highway PR-372 in Yauco’s Aguas Blancas neighborhood.
According to the police report, a call was received at Yauco district headquarters. When the authorities arrived at the scene, a man reported that he was doing cleaning work on the grounds of Hacienda Vicario when he saw the body of a man on a cliff.
When the body was removed from the scene, authorities found that it had multiple open wounds, bruises and abrasions in different parts.
The individual also was tied at the hands and neck. He was described as having a dark complexion, short curly black hair with a beard and mustache, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds and around 30 years old. He was wearing a gray long-sleeved shirt and black shorts.
Officer José García of the Homicide Division and prosecutor Limaries Cobián are investigating.
