Body of man stung by bees recovered in Corozal

The police reported Tuesday that they recovered the body of a man who died after being stung by bees while practicing the sport of rappelling in the area known as the Cascada de Magüeyes on highway PR-568 highway in Corozal.
According to the authorities’ report, a young man who was accompanying the deceased was rescued and transported to the Naranjito Diagnostic and Treatment Center in stable condition.
The deceased was described as having a fair complexion, black hair, approximately six feet tall, and weighing around 180 pounds. He was wearing long camouflage pants, black socks and sports shoes.
Officer Orlando Fuentes of the Cedro Arriba Precinct and prosecutor Carlos Rodríguez took charge of the investigation.
