Bridge replacement work to close PR-189 near Caguas

With the Highways and Transportation Authority (ACT by its Spanish initials) conducting replacement work on the bridge on the south side of PR-30 over PR-189 between Gurabo and Caguas, PR-189 under the PR-30 bridge will be closed on consecutive weekends.
Work will begin Saturday at 4 a.m. and continue until Monday at dawn, then will resume the following Saturday, July 2 at 4 a.m. and again continue until Monday, July 4 at dawn. Meanwhile PR-30 will be open to traffic as it has been up to now in both directions.
Remaining closed will be the PR-189 ramp toward Humacao, and the access ramp to PR-189 from Caguas through PR-30.
Remaining open will be the ramp from PR-189 to PR-30, Plaza Centro Caguas, and the ramp from Humacao on PR-30 toward PR-189.
