The Certified Public Accountants Association of Puerto Rico in conjunction with the company Reciclaje del Norte will be holding its annual event for recycling electronic equipment and shredding confidential documents on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Capital Center Building Atrium.
“The best way to dispose of electronic equipment is by taking it to safe places, where measures are taken to take care of the environment,” said CPA Association President Oscar E. Cullen Ramos. “Take care, comply and protect is our call for this event, with which we reiterate our commitment to promote the care of the environment.”
During the event, the protocol to prevent the spread of COVID-19 will be followed, for which masks must be worn at all times. Among the equipment that will be accepted free of charge are computer keyboards, speakers and video cameras, among other items. It also will be possible to recycle other equipment such as computers, printers and monitors at low cost. Meanwhile, confidential documents will be shredded on site at minimal cost considering the number of boxes and their size.
