Double A baseball finals resume Friday in Manatí

The Double A Superior Baseball League 2024 Lubricants Brava Final Series will resume Friday at 8 p.m. at Pedro Román Meléndez Stadium in Manatí with the third game between the Azucareros of Yabucoa and Titans of Florida.


The series, which will produce the new Puerto Rico Baseball Federation champion, is tied at a game apiece.


This weekend’s three games will be broadcast live on WIPR channel 6 and the R1Live.com platform. If necessary, games six and seven will be played on the weekend of Aug. 16.


Florida’s Juan Carlos Martínez leads the series with an .800 batting average on four hits in five at-bats, with one walk, three RBIs and three runs scored.


Schedule for the second weekend of the finals:


•Friday, Aug. 9: Game 3 at Pedro Román Meléndez Stadium, Manatí, at 8 p.m.

•Saturday, Aug. 10: Game 4 atFrancisco Negrón Díaz Stadium, Las Piedras, at 8 p.m.

•Sunday, Aug. 11: Game 5 at Pedro Román Meléndez Stadium, Manatí, at 5 p.m.
