Forensics institute interviews relatives of slain youths

The five homicide victims in Carolina and Loíza included four teenagers, including girls aged 13 and 15, and a 27-year-old.

The Institute of Forensic Sciences conducted interviews with the relatives of three young people whose bodies were found in Carolina earlier this week.
The youths were identified as Erik Johan Batista Trinidad, 27; Iván Alfonso Morales Rivera, 15; and Dartaneon Pablo Figueroa Navarro, 18. Autopsies were to be performed on two of them Wednesday and the third this morning.
In addition, on Tuesday afternoon, the relatives of two teenage girls whose bodies were found in Loíza were interviewed.
The girls were identified as Nahia Paola Ramos López, 13, and Tanaisha Michelle de Jesús Curet, 15.
Autopsies were being performed on both young women Wednesday.
No further details in the ongoing investigation could be provided as of press time Wednesday.
