Gov. Pedro Pierluisi Urrutia has declared three days of mourning for former Puerto Rico Supreme Court Associate Justice Rafael Alonso Alonso, who died Friday at age 82.
“We deeply regret the departure of the honorable Rafael Alonso Alonso, who was an associate justice of the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico from his appointment in 1985 until his retirement in July 1995,” Pierluisi said Sunday. “To all his family and loved ones, my most sincere condolences and prayers for his eternal rest.”
