Governor travels to mainland US for investment summit

Gov. Pedro Pierluisi Urrutia will participate this week in the “Choose USA Investment Summit” organized by U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo, which will focus on promoting investment throughout the United States.
The event, to run through Wednesday, will be held at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center at National Harbor in Maryland.
The governor will participate in a roundtable with Raimondo and other governors. Also, he will deliver a message on a panel on sustainable infrastructure.
Secretary of State Omar Marrero Díaz will serve as interim governor during Pierluisi’s absence.
