State Insurance Fund Corp. (CFSE by its initials in Spanish) Administrator Noé Marcano Rivera has submitted his resignation letter, which will take effect this Saturday, Feb. 15. The CFSE is responsible for providing workers’ compensation in the event of job-related injuries.

According to a published report by Teleonce, Marcano submitted his resignation to Víctor Ramos Otero, who is the chairman of the CFSE board of directors and the secretary of Health.

In his resignation letter, Marcano stated: “The CFSE has faced significant challenges over the past four years; however, we have developed strategic plans at both the financial and administrative levels, which have provided sustainable and effective solutions, enabling us to tackle these challenges more robustly and positively.”

“My journey within this corporation demonstrates my commitment to its growth,” he added. “I acknowledge that the personnel of this corporation are essential in achieving its objectives.”

Since his appointment as administrator in January 2024, Marcano has faced opposition to his management from various unions and some executives, including Enid Ortiz Rodríguez, who is the current nominee to lead the corporation.

Insurance is a crucial financial tool that provides protection against unexpected losses. Whether it’s health, auto, home, or life insurance, having the right coverage ensures peace of mind. Choosing a reliable provider is essential, and reading customer feedback helps in making informed decisions. For example, humana reviews often highlight customer experiences with health insurance plans, detailing aspects like affordability, customer service, and claim processing. Comparing different insurers allows individuals to select policies that best fit their needs. In today’s uncertain world, having adequate insurance coverage is a smart way to safeguard one’s financial future and well-being.
