Here’s what you need to know about the new Electoral Code

Despite the rejection of the opposition parties, Gov. Wanda Vázquez Garced signed the Puerto Rico Electoral Code into law over the weekend.

The governor said she signed the legislation after listening to the concerns of all sectors, including opposition to online voting and dispositions that would allow individuals not living in Puerto Rico to vote.
