In alleged suicide, woman had additional head wounds

Authorities are investigating an alleged suicide that reportedly occurred around 9:32 p.m. on Friday in a residence on Calle 2 of the Colinas de Cupey urbanization, in San Juan.
According to the report, the San Juan Municipal Police arrived at the residence and found María Paola Hernández Agosto, 33, dead with a gunshot wound in the head.
José Bobonis, the woman’s husband, alleged that after an argument between the two, Hernández Agosto shot herself.
The report said that in addition to the gunshot wound, the woman had two head injuries. A 9mm Glock pistol, among other pieces of evidence, were seized at the scene.
Officer José Santiago Santiago, from the Homicide Division of the San Juan Criminal Investigation Corps, took over the investigation of the case along with prosecutor Alfredo Carrión.
