Gov. Pedro Pierluisi Urrutia on Wednesday announced the transmission of two special programs that have been prepared from La Fortaleza to celebrate Three Kings Day.

The programming -- which will be broadcast on WIPR and the governor’s Facebook page -- includes a special for boys and girls and a bohemian feature for adults.

“At La Fortaleza, two very significant special programs have been developed for people of all ages. The holiday specials feature dedicated talent who went out of their way to convey the spirit and joy of these days so that we can safely enjoy it on screen in our homes and with our closest loved ones,” the governor said in a written statement. “Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this is the second time that we have arranged a special program for this day, in order to maintain and celebrate our traditions, support local talent and bring the magic of this holiday to homes in Puerto Rico. I hope it is to everyone’s liking and that they can enjoy themselves in peace and harmony during these festivities.”

“The Dream of Three Kings Day” is one of the specials prepared with the participation of performers from the children’s program “Atención Atención” and a group of boys and girls who are discovering the different areas of Santa Catalina Palace in La Fortaleza.

That program will air at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on WIPR Channel 6. It will also be broadcast at 10 a.m. on the Gobernador Pierluisi Facebook page (@govpierluisi).

Meanwhile, “La Bohemia de Reyes en La Fortaleza” will air at 8 p.m. on Channel 6 and at 9 p.m. on the Gobernador Pierluisi Facebook page. The evening musical special will feature the participation of Ángel “Cucco” Peña, Didi Romero, Victoria Sanabria and José Nogueras. Musician-actress Deddie Romero will act as moderator.
