Puerto Rico Police Bureau officers arrested Harold Carrión Butter on Tuesday night for violating a protection order issued by a judge in favor of his former partner.
Carrión Butter, 23, was the person who caused a mobilization of resources estimated at $1.2 million by the commonwealth government after being reported missing and feared drowned last week in the beach area known as the Poza del Obispo in Arecibo.
The case is being consulted with prosecutors regarding the filing of charges.
