Civilian employees of the Puerto Rico Police Bureau (PRPB) held a demonstration at noon on Tuesday in front of PRPB headquarters on Franklin Delano Roosevelt Avenue in Hato Rey.

According to reports, some 80 civil employees demonstrated to demand payment they say the agency owes them.

Protesters occupied two lanes in the direction of Puerto Nuevo, for which reason there was only one lane available for traffic in that direction and some traffic congestion developed as a result.

Personnel from the Hato Rey West Precinct along with agents from the Surveillance Division were monitoring the demonstration, which took place without incident and ended at 1 p.m.
