Police investigate apparent double homicide in Canóvanas

The police are investigating the discovery of two bodies, at around 9:38 a.m. on Thursday, on 2nd Street in the San Isidro neighborhood of Canóvanas’ Jardines de Palmarejo sector.

According to preliminary information, a call was received by the police about some shots fired at the scene. Upon arrival, they found inside a residence the body of an unidentified man and woman who had sustained gunshot wounds.

Medina Ambulance paramedics certified the absence of vital signs. The causes of the events are under investigation by officer Carlos Corchado, who is attached to the Homicide Division of the Carolina Criminal Investigation Corps, and the prosecutor on duty.
