Police: Male tourist attacks female tourist at Río Grande hotel

A male tourist attacked another tourist, a female, at 9 p.m. Saturday at Hotel Blue Paradise Resort in the Camino Las Picúas sector of Río Grande, the police reported Sunday.

According to the Police, the complainant, Alexandra McKernan, 30, a resident of Texas, alleged that a man who is also a tourist struck her in the face with his hands.

The victim suffered bruises around her left eye and lost two teeth, the police said.

Officer Ángel López from the district of Río Grande investigated and referred the case to the Fajardo Area Assaults Division, who are continuing with the investigation.
