The most highly anticipated fifth edition of the Pro Ayuda Foundation of Puerto Rico’s (FDAPR by its Spanish initials) gala, “The 40 and One Tables,” was held recently at the Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel and Casino in the Convention Center District.
Hundreds of exquisitely dressed guests enjoyed the cocktail hour before gliding into the main ballroom filled with shimmering decorations, floral masterpieces, and designer touches that brought to life the incredible splendor of each of the 41 uniquely designed tables.
Guests also enjoyed a delicious menu as the musical sounds of Cuenta Regresiva and Music Factory played through the night. Adding another special touch to the festivities, the famous artist Julia Rivera donated a painting titled “Respira,” reflecting El Yunque’s fauna.
Many corporations supported this spectacular event to help mistreated and underprivileged children with social disadvantages, as highlighted by the lovely Daniela Dapena de Gómez, president of the FDAPR’s board of directors.
