55th San Sebastián Festival to open Jan. 16

San Juan Mayor Miguel Romero Lugo announced Wednesday the preparations for the 55th edition of the San Sebastián Street Festival, which will be held from Thursday, Jan. 16 to Sunday, Jan. 19, 2025.

The event, which officially closes the Christmas season in Puerto Rico, brings together thousands of people in Old San Juan to enjoy music, art, gastronomy and culture.

“The celebration of the 55th anniversary of the San Sebastián Street Festival will focus on highlighting the historical and cultural value of this event, the largest in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean,” Romero said at a press conference in which he highlighted the efforts to guarantee an organized and safe experience for all attendees.
