Year 1493 -- The discovery of Puerto Rico by Christopher Columbus and his crew was undoubtedly through Aguadilla. Consider the creation of a board for the celebration of the 400th anniversary of the discovery of Puerto Rico and the construction of a monument to Christopher Columbus, ordered by the King and Queen of Spain (1893). It was presided over by Brigadier Montojo, representing the governor of the island, along with honorable Puerto Ricans. The special mission of the board was to designate the site where Columbus landed on this island on Nov. 19, 1493, and the erection of a monument to commemorate such a glorious event.
It was Don Salvador Brau y Asencio who launched the idea of celebrating the 4th Centenary of the discovery of the island in a dignified manner, proposing, among other things, that a ‘Cross carved in granite, extracted from our mountains’ be erected in front of the site where the navigator, Christopher Columbus, anchored with his 17 ships.
Salvador Brau was born on Jan. 11, 1842 in Cabo Rojo, and died on Nov. 5, 1912 in San Juan. He studied history at the University of Barcelona, Spain. He was the first official historian of Puerto Rico, as designated by the first American governor of Puerto Rico and appointed by the president of the United States. He conducted studies on the discovery at the Archive of the Indies in Seville, Spain. Consequently, his opinion is of great value and weight for purposes of the site of the discovery of Puerto Rico. The designated site was the banks of the Culebrinas River, at the well known Parque de Colón, where the cross symbolizing the discovery, and the birth of Christianity in Puerto Rico, was built (see photo).
In 1998, a report was published by renowned historians Osiris Delgado, Adam Szaszdi and Ricardo Alegría, Puerto Rican historians of the highest professional caliber and with vast experience in the subject. The report, prepared at the request of the Puerto Rican Academy of History, establishes the location of the discovery of Puerto Rico. It establishes that the Academy concluded that Columbus’ fleet set sail on Nov. 19, 1493, from Ensenada de Aguada (Aguadilla Bay). Within the broad area of said ensenada, the potential landing zone is limited to approximately 9,000 meters of coastline, specifically between the borders of the Tamarindo and Santa Bárbara neighborhoods and the mouth of the Culebrinas River. Thus, after the Taínos arrived, the Spanish entered through Aguadilla in 1493.

2013 Aguadilla UFO incident verdict: Undeniable UFO/USO proof
In 2013 there was a UFO sighting over the area of former Ramey Air Force Base in Aguadilla, and the adjacent western beach. The UFO was seen moving along the Rafael Hernández Airport runway and then downhill to the adjacent western beach. One UFO entered the sea and then two came out. The incident is part of the official UFO record of the Pentagon (see photo).
The report of the incident states in pertinent part: “this is the first time such a UFO verdict has been given. … The explanation of the incident sounds rational, logical, and scientific. This could be the very reason the acknowledging and funding to study transmedium objects language was introduced and signed by the president in the 2023 Defense Bill. This is not a UAP [Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena]. It is clearly a UFO, and in today’s world, a UFO conclusion with all our science and data collecting instruments is very close to non-human in origin, like it or not. The display of propulsion tech, let alone its interaction with water, leaves anyone speechless and profoundly confused. The violation of physics before our eyes is undeniable. To skeptical friends, there’s no good quality video available or display of something non prosaic. Well, here it is, and it wasn’t shot with an iPhone or uploaded by a teenager with shaky hands and 3 seconds cut. It was leaked to the public. We weren’t supposed to see or learn about this. No amount of attempted debunkery will surpass the resources of analysis the U.S. government has; it’s an official UFO case in Congress’ hands. The object’s movement can be explained by linear motion. The object’s altitude varies from 1,001 ft at the start of the event to 689 ft at the end …”
The Aguadilla, Puerto Rico UFO is regarded by UFO-logists as one of the best-recorded examples of a UAP. It is said that a video of the event shows a UAP performing extraordinary flight maneuvers in both the air and sea. However, the report shows that the object’s likely path was a straight-line path that could be explained by an object being propelled by the winds at the time.”
In summary: Christopher Columbus and his crew entered Puerto Rico by Aguadilla (1493); also a UFO entered Puerto Rico by historic Aguadilla, as the Pentagon acknowledges (2013); and, even most illegal aliens enter Puerto Rico by Aguadilla. There is something wonderful and majestic in the northwestern part of the island that makes it such a special place of entrance. A paradise, that’s Aguadilla.
