The Atléticos of San Germán defeated the Osos of Manatí 108-87 on Monday night in a Superior National Basketball league game at Arquelio Torres Coliseum in San Germán.


The Atléticos set the pace from the start, dominating the first quarter 30-13. San Germán extended the lead to 59-30 at halftime.


Although the Osos rallied in the second half, outscoring the hosts in both remaining quarters, the Atléticos’ lead proved to be too much to overcome.


San Germán also dominated the rebounding battle 45-35 and connected on 13 three-pointers en route to its third win in a row.


Antonio Gordon led the Atléticos (13-6) with 28 points and 6 rebounds. Nick Perkins added 14 points, while Montrezl Harrell and Alex Hamilton contributed 13 points each.


Kristian Doolittle led the Osos (7-11) with 22 points and 6 rebounds. Tyquan Rolón scored 18 points and Kendric Davis added 15.
