Former Major League Baseball player Carlos Beltrán announced earlier this week the launch of “Un logro de todos” (An Achievement for All), a free digital guide designed to assist fans interested in joining him during his induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York in July.

“This achievement is not mine alone; it belongs to an entire people who have supported me since day one,” Beltrán said Tuesday in a written statement.

The initiative includes the website carlosbeltranhof.com, which offers practical information regarding flights from Puerto Rico, accommodations, transportation, ceremony logistics, dress code recommendations, and commemorative merchandise.

“’Un logro de todos’ was born out of a desire to share this moment with my people and provide them with as much guidance as possible, so that they can be present in Cooperstown,” Beltrán said.

The official induction ceremony will take place on Sunday, July 26 at the Clark Sports Center in Cooperstown during an event that is open to the public and free of charge.

Beltrán expressed his hope to see a strong Puerto Rican presence on induction day.

“I dream of seeing thousands of Puerto Rican flags accompanying me on that day,” the native of Manatí said.

The initiative aims to simplify the planning process for those wishing to attend the induction and to break down information barriers for fans in Puerto Rico, the Latino community, and baseball enthusiasts alike.

Beltrán will become the 20th Latino player to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, following a two-decade career in the majors with the Kansas City Royals, Houston Astros, New York Mets, San Francisco Giants, St. Louis Cardinals, Texas Rangers and New York Yankees. He will be wearing a Mets hat on his plaque.

In January of this year, the former center fielder was notified of his induction after receiving more than 84% of the votes. His career statistics include 435 home runs and 312 stolen bases.
