Integrated Mountain Health earns 5 national performance distinctions

After a rigorous validation and accreditation process, the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) informed Integrated Mountain Health (SIM by its acronym in Spanish) on Tuesday that it has awarded it the five performance distinctions it grants to 330 Primary Health Centers in the United States, an achievement that the organization has achieved for the 13th consecutive year.
The federal determination is based on the performance reported by SIM in the Uniform Data System (UDS) 2025 and corresponds to the federal program’s recognitions for 2026.
“For a non-profit organization, whose board of directors comprises community leaders, simultaneously earning five national distinctions, including National Quality Leader recognition, represents a historic achievement and evidences our continued commitment to excellence, quality and continuous improvement,” SIM President & CEO Dr. Gloria del C. Amador said. “All of this benefits patients and the communities served by our physicians, nurses, medical and radiologic technologists, pharmacists, health care administrators, leaders, and all clinical and administrative staff. Without that commitment and loyalty to our patients, we would not have reached this position. To each of our employees I express my deepest gratitude.”
The five national quality recognitions from HRSA were based on the care of 77,520 unique non-duplicate patients, according to UDS 2025 data.
In addition, SIM maintains the Patient-Centered Medical Home certification, which recognizes a patient-centered, coordinated, accessible and continuous quality improvement model of care.
