Juana Díaz will host the 2026 Puerto Rico Women’s Superior Basketball National League (BSNF) All-Star Game on Saturday, October 17, at the Dolores “Toyita” Martínez Coliseum, featuring skills competitions, a three-point contest and a game showcasing the league’s young talent.

“Our greatest hope is that this event inspires the girls and young women who dream of one day representing their hometown or Puerto Rico through sports,” said Aurelio Collado, owner of the Juana Díaz Monarcas, in a written statement. “We have brought the highest level of women’s basketball to Juana Díaz, not only to deliver an outstanding sporting event but also to inspire future generations.”

The festivities will begin at 3 p.m. and feature two players from each BSNF franchise in the All-Star Game.

The event will also include the Skills Challenge, a team-based Shooting Stars competition and the Three-Point Contest.

In addition, the Rising Stars Game will spotlight young players and emerging talent in women’s basketball.

Juana Díaz Mayor Ramón Hernández highlighted the event’s potential economic and athletic impact on the municipality.

“Hosting an event of this caliber is an important achievement for our city. It generates a positive economic impact and provides a sporting event for the entire family,” Hernández said. “We are pleased that our coliseum will serve as a major national venue for women’s basketball.”
