The Monarcas of Juana Díaz and the Ganaderas of Hatillo earned victories Wednesday night in the Puerto Rico Women’s Basketball League (BSNF).
Tess Amundsen scored 18 points, Imani McGee followed with 17 points and 19 rebounds, and the host Monarcas earned their second straight win, defeating the Explosivas of Moca 58-53 at Dolores “Toyita” Martínez Coliseum.
The Monarcas’ victory prevented Moca from tying for first place in the BSNF standings. The Explosivas are now 8-4, a game behind the defending champion Santurce Cangrejeras, who are 9-3.
Juana Díaz, which also defeated Caguas 91-85 on Monday, improved its record to 6-6. Leigha Brown led Moca with 17 points, Ashley Torres had 14, Samantha Fuehring scored 12 points and grabbed 14 rebounds, and Taya Corosdale contributed 10 points.
At Juan “Pachín” Vicéns Auditorium in Ponce, the visiting Vaqueras of Hatillo (5-6) defeated the Leonas (3-8) 73-69.

For the Leonas, Talia von Oelhoffen stood out with 26 points, Ariel Colón had 14, Dariauna Lewis scored 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, and Shelby Cheslek had 11 points and 10 rebounds.
The game scheduled between the Criollas of Caguas and the Cafetaleras of Yauco was postponed due to inclement weather.

I thought Moca would crush this one. Guess Juana Diaz really wanted it more. geometry dash scratch
