The “Road to Glory” phase of the Women’s Premier Softball League (LPSF by its initials in Spanish) resumes on Saturday, with Juncos and Sabana Grande one win away from advancing to the 2026 Crown Series.
The Valencianas of Juncos and Prodigiosas of Sabana Grande lead their respective best-of-five semifinal series, 2-1.
In Series A, the runner-up Leonas of Ponce will host the Valencianas at Toño Feliciano Park in Ponce, starting at 7 p.m.
Meanwhile, Series B continues at Luis “Papa” Rivera Park in Cidra, where the two-time champion Bravas will fight to stay alive against the Prodigiosas, also at 7 p.m.
If necessary, the deciding fifth games will be played on Sunday starting at 4 p.m. Juncos would host at Felipe Díaz Park, while Sabana Grande would host the deciding game at Quintín Hernández Park.
This weekend, Article 11.14 of the competition regulations also comes into effect, regarding substitutions for players called up to the Senior Women’s National Team.
The rule allows players called up for National Team international commitments to be replaced by “guest players” at the same position -- in addition to those normally permitted by the regulations.
Each team may make one substitution for each player called up, up to a maximum of three.
Guest players may remain active for up to five days after the National Team commitment concludes.
After that period, the original player regains her spot on the active roster for the remainder of her team’s participation.
All “Road to Glory” games will be broadcast live on YouTube.
