Establishing a fashion legacy from Puerto Rico and beyond.

By JUDY GORDON-CONDE and JENNIFER CONDE-POWERS

Lisa Cappalli, the renowned Puerto Rican designer, continues to be recognized for her feminine style and intricate lacework, inspired by her rich family history in Puerto Rico’s fashion scene. Most recently, her iconic designs were showcased at the exhibition “Three Generations Intertwined by Lace” at the National Museum of Puerto Rican Art and Culture in Chicago — bringing together the artistic legacy of three generations of designers, including Lisa Cappalli, her mother Mili Arango, and daughter Cecilia Fernández Cappalli,  whose work reflects the enduring role of lace in the textile traditions of Puerto Rico and the Caribbean.

In Puerto Rico, Lisa showcased her masterful lace craftsmanship during an unprecedented fashion experience at the Museo de San Juan, where 20 women from local media participated in a creative “mise en scène” instead of a traditional runway and modeled her new collection. Guests mixed and mingled while sipping champagne and joined the immersive event, starting with a special welcome video from Lisa and then moving to curated rooms featuring the collection.

It's fascinating to see how the Cappalli family has woven their fashion legacy through generations, keeping the tradition of lacework alive. The exhibition at the National Museum of Puerto Rican Art and Culture must have been a beautiful tribute to their craftsmanship. For those interested, VectorArtGen can help convert images of their designs into scalable vector graphics, preserving the intricate details.

Tribal frame drums replace beatbox kicks. Reed flutes and plucked strings carry melodies instead of synths. Vocal chants sit where pop vocals used to be. The palette is cohesive in Sprunki Pyramixed — every sound belongs to the same desert world.

Most horror visual novels use gore, monsters, or supernatural threats. SURVIVE MIN weaponizes attention and emotional intimacy. The horror is being known — truly, uncomfortably known — by someone whose affection can become violence without warning. There are no safe answers. Only answers Min hasn't decided to punish yet.
