Santeros, Criollos and Vaqueros post wins in BSN.

The Santeros of Aguada, Criollos of Caguas and Vaqueros of Bayamón all recorded victories in Superior National Basketball (BSN by its initials in Spanish) games on Wednesday night.
At Ismael “Chavalillo” Delgado Coliseum in Aguada, the Santeros defeated the Leones of Ponce, 83-77.
The visitors stayed in the game despite the home team dominating the first half, 42-35, making defensive adjustments in the second half to remain in the fight.
Ponce took the lead, 69-67, with 6:15 remaining in the fourth quarter on a basket by Johned Walker.
However, Aguada responded in the final stretch with a three-pointer by Robiel Morales and a basket in the paint by Giancarlo Rosado that flipped the score to 72-69 with 4:51 left as the Santeros held on for the win.
Rosado led the way for the Santeros (6-2) with 24 points, followed by Rigoberto Mendoza with 20. John Brown III and Morales added 10 points each.
Jordan Murphy led the Leones (3-7) with 26 points, while Jezreel de Jesús scored 20.
At Fernando “Rube” Hernández Coliseum in Bayamón, meanwhile, the Vaqueros defeated the Mets of Guaynabo, 88-73.
The Vaqueros (6-4) established an early lead and maintained control throughout most of the contest. Although the Mets (3-6) managed to narrow the gap to just five points in the fourth quarter, the Vaqueros pulled away once again in the final minutes.
Xavier Cooks led the Vaqueros with 15 points, Stephen Thompson Jr. added 13 points, and veteran Javier Mojica chipped in 12.
The Mets’ Ismael Romero led all scorers with 21 points while pulling down 8 rebounds.
At Roberto Clemente Coliseum in Hato Rey, the Criollos defeated the Cangrejeros of Santurce, 105–96.
Moses Brown led a balanced attack for Caguas (6-2) with 21 points and 13 rebounds. Michael O’Connell had 19 points and 7 assists off the bench, Travis Trice had 17 points and 13 assists, Christian López Santiago contributed 14 points off the bench and Louis King added 13 points and 6 assists.
Malik Beasley led Santurce (4-3) with 22 points, while Ángel Rodríguez had 15 points and 6 assists, Isaiah Piñeiro and reserve Ángel Matías scored 14 points apiece, and Devon Collier grabbed 12 rebounds off the bench.
