Team Metro wins BSN All-Star Game.

Team Metro defeated Team Isla 141-134 in the 2026 Superior National Basketball (BSN by its initials in Spanish) All-Star Game held Sunday night at Arquelio Torres Ramírez Coliseum in San Germán.
Team Metro’s starting lineup consisted of Isaiah Piñeiro (Cangrejeros), Travis Trice (Criollos), Louis King (Criollos), Christian López Santiago (Criollos) and Ysmael Romero (Mets).
Starting for Team Isla were André Curbelo (Atléticos), Rafael Pinzón (Capitanes), Rigoberto Mendoza (Santeros), Nick Perkins (Atléticos) and Montrezl Harrell (Atléticos).
Eddie Casiano, head coach of the Atléticos of San Germán, led Team Isla, while Wilhelmus Caanen, head coach of the Criollos of Caguas, coached Team Metro.
The contest was close early on, with Team Metro closing out the first quarter holding a 42-41 lead.
During the final minutes of the first half, the crowd in attendance was treated to a memorable offensive duel between Ysmael Romero and Montrezl Harrell. By halftime, Team Metro had built a 79-64 advantage.
The entertainment continued during halftime with musical performances by Lenny Tavárez and Justin Quiles.
Team Metro stayed in control throughout the second half, entering the final quarter with a 109-100 lead en route to the seven-point victory.
Romero was named All-Star Game MVP.
