UPR to hold 29th Christmas Festival

Each year, the Botanical Garden in San Juan is the site of the University of Puerto Rico’s Christmas Festival, or “Festival de Pascuas.”

University of Puerto Rico (UPR) President Luis Ferrao Delgado extended an invitation earlier this week to the university community and the general public to participate in the 29th edition of the UPR’s Christmas Festival (“Festival de Pascuas”).

“We invite all to the UPR Botanical Garden, where you can enjoy an ample variety of poinsettia and choose your favorite, as well as local handicraft,” Ferrao said. “In addition, we will have an agricultural market, educational workshops, agricultural presentations and artistic performances.”

Each year, the UPR Botanical Garden welcomes the Christmas season with the family event. This year’s festival takes place Saturday, Nov. 23 and Sunday, Nov. 24.
