CPAs Association to host Health Industry Forum

With the purpose of strengthening the development and financial sustainability of the health industry in Puerto Rico, the Certified Public Accountants Association (CCPA by its initials in Spanish) announced the XXVI Health Industry Forum, which will take place on Thursday, Aug. 6 from 8:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Puerto Rico Convention Center.
“The healthcare system is undergoing a profound transformation,” CCPA President David Rodríguez said. “In this context, CPAs assume a highly strategic and positive role that goes beyond the numbers: we become advisers for the transformation of the sector, contributing cutting-edge analysis, fiscal discipline, and an innovative vision that strengthens the operational excellence of medical institutions.”
The forum will gather leaders from the public and private sectors to analyze the financial, operational and strategic challenges that are redefining the healthcare industry in Puerto Rico. Key topics to be addressed include lessons in financial resilience learned within the healthcare system, pricing reform and pharmaceutical economics, and the trends that will shape the future of operations in the sector.
Rodríguez stressed that “the Forum will place special emphasis on operational excellence and technological innovation, through the presentation of advanced tools such as artificial intelligence, data analytics, and process optimization, which are transforming healthcare management in Puerto Rico.”
