UPR Fest to spotlight offerings at all 11 campuses

The University of Puerto Rico (UPR) is inviting high school students, university students, parents and the general public to participate in UPR Fest 2026, a free event that will bring together, for the first time in one space, the academic offerings and university experience of the system’s 11 campuses.

The event will be held this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the UPR Río Piedras Campus. During the event, attendees will be able to learn about the undergraduate and graduate programs offered by all 11 campuses, speak directly with admissions staff and faculty, receive guidance on admission requirements, academic and research opportunities, and complete their application for admission and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with the support of specialized staff.

UPR Fest also will feature the participation of the campuses’ official mascots, an alumni area, student services, student entrepreneurs, a store with items and memorabilia from the different units, artisans, food trucks and spaces designed for family enjoyment.

Additionally, a “Prepa Justas” zone, organized by student associations, will be set up where visitors can participate in games, challenges and recreational activities. The event will also feature a picnic area and performances by various musical groups on the main stage.

“We want every visitor to experience firsthand the impact of our campuses and find the path that best aligns with their academic and professional aspirations,” UPR President Zayira Jordán Conde said.

UPR Vice President of Student Affairs Jonathan Muñoz Barreto said the event “aims to support students through concrete steps in their university journey.”

“There, they can find guidance, complete applications, clarify doubts about financial aid, and learn firsthand about the services that support their transition to university life,” he said.
