Senate President José Luis Dalmau Santiago announced Tuesday that this Thursday, Jan. 4, an event called “Give a Smile in This New Year” will be held at the Capitol, where attendees will have the opportunity to greet the Three Wise Men of Juana Díaz.
“We extend a special invitation to the people of Puerto Rico to join our Three Kings Day celebration at the Capitol,” Dalmau Santiago said in a written statement. “It will be a day full of magic, tradition and shared joy.”
During the event, which will begin at 10 a.m. on the north side of the Capitol, families will have access to various play and entertainment areas. On stage, the Remi Show, Shabum, and the Clown Orchestra will perform, along with the animation of Alex DJ. Also on hand will be superheroes from the Mental Health and Anti-Addiction Services Administration.
In addition, the Senate will receive the visit of the Three Wise Men of Juana Díaz starting at 2 p.m., when the children will be able to have their portraits taken with them.
“Let’s celebrate our tradition and welcome this New Year with smiles and joy from our House of Laws,” the Senate leader said.
