Double-A postseason play begins May 30

The 2025 postseason of the Double-A Superior Baseball League will begin on Friday, May 30 with the section semifinal series, Puerto Rico Baseball Federation Executive Director Efraín Williams González announced on Monday.

“The final games of the regular season must be completed on or before Sunday, May 25,” Williams González said in a written statement.

Games suspended due to rain must be rescheduled for the following day, and each team must have an alternate stadium available in case a relocation is required.

In the event of a tie for fourth place in a section, and once the top three spots are determined, a playoff game will be played to determine the fourth-place team in the group.

The federation clarified that neither the playoff games nor the intersectional challenge games will count toward regular season statistics.
