Ex-legislator Aponte Rosario detained for alleged violation of protection order

The Puerto Rico Police Bureau (PRPB) reported Monday that former legislator Orlando Aponte Rosario had been arrested.
The arrest arose from a complaint in which he is accused of violating a protection order, the PRPB said.
The authorities specified that because it is a case of domestic violence under investigation, the PRPB would refrain from offering more details, and no further information on the case was available as of press time.
