González Colón to participate in Montana Economic Summit on energy

Gov. Jenniffer González Colón was invited by Montana Governor Greg Gianforte to participate as a panelist at the Montana Chamber of Commerce’s Economic Summit focused on energy issues, it was reported Wednesday.

This week’s event will bring together presidents of energy companies, organizations dedicated to public policymaking, the governors of Montana, Nebraska and Wyoming, U.S. senators, and federal Energy Secretary Chris Wright, among others.

González Colón’s participation aims to expand the dialogue on access to affordable and sustainable energy nationwide, as well as strengthen collaboration between the federal government, the private sector and the Puerto Rico government.

While the governor participates in the one-day summit, Secretary of State Rosachely Rivera is to serve as acting governor through this Friday, according to a press release.
