Whether planning a summer vacation at a chic European city, a Caribbean cruise or a few days off exploring hidden treasures in our own idyllic island paradise -- which thousands dream about -- women know packing takes a lot of planning and thinking.
You want to pack light but making sure you have a complete repertoire of looks that take you from brunch to cocktails in style.
“Perennials” by fashion designer Lisa Thon is that one-stop shop women need before hitting the Departure Gate. Her Resort Collection 2023 is a refreshing lineup of options to mix and match that include bathing suits, coverups, shorts, mini dresses, maxi dresses, skirts and tops.
The garments are made in fabrics that travel well, as in no stress no iron required, Thon explained. The fabrics include satin cotton, jerseys, brocades and neoprene. The color palette is light and pretty: black and white with pops of turquoise and orange. Not to be missed, her monogrammed fabric is used in several items.
For sunbathing, Thon presented string bikinis with bandeau, high neck, halter and long line tops. High-waisted bottoms are trending and winning, and add that retro vibe with tons of old glamour that we all love so much. Her belted one-piece color block swimsuits are elegant and chic. Attention on the tankini, with sexy front cut-outs.
The dresses, wraparound skirts and kaftans are made in simple lines that are so very relaxing. And at the same time are high fashion with ultra feminine details like a fabulous orange feather hem. Who doesn’t love artistic expressions like that?
