In a democratic and participatory process, the Dignity Project (Proyecto Dignidad) general assembly, held this past weekend in an auditorium in Caguas, elected Nilda Pérez Martínez as its new party president, marking the beginning of a new era of leadership for the institution.

The new members of the governing council, which is composed of the president, vice president, public interest members, district directors and youth president, were also elected and ratified on Saturday.

“It is an honor and a great responsibility to assume the presidency of Proyecto Dignidad,” Pérez Martínez said after receiving the support of the majority of the delegates present. “Our commitment is to work tirelessly for a just, prosperous Puerto Rico based on principles that dignify every citizen.”

Under her leadership, the Dignity Project will focus on strengthening its organizational structure, expanding its community outreach, and preparing a solid platform for the upcoming elections, prioritizing the real needs of the people over partisan interests, according to the party.

Pérez Martínez, an organizational development consultant with more than 22 years of experience, has been a steady voice in defense of the conservative values and principles that underpin the Dignity Project. Her background includes consulting for high-profile companies, ministerial leadership, and an active media presence as a spokesperson and advocate for government transparency.
