Under the slogan “We Are a Single Force!,” Popular Democratic Party (PDP) President Jesús Manuel Ortiz González and party political coordinator Víctor “Vitito” Pérez announced on Tuesday that the 2024 PDP Convention will take place at the Ponce Hilton next April 12-14.
“To have a PDP in a position to win, we have to be united as a party,” Ortiz González said. “That sharing in brotherhood energizes and strengthens us as a team. As president, I am working to strengthen our institution for 2024. For this reason, we will be holding our Popular Convention so that all the ‘populares’ of the island can meet and work hard in advance of the great popular victory in November.”
Pérez noted that a General Assembly will be held on Sunday, April 14 to address various issues related to the November election.
“Our president wanted to take the opportunity to bring together all our delegates, so we will take advantage of this event to work and convene all the members of our highest governing body for a General Assembly in which we will address matters of utmost importance to our party with an eye on the general election,” he said.
