The Office of the Women’s Advocate will be part of the 4th Crusade for Peace in Puerto Rico, organized by the Cristo Breaks the Chains Ministry, to be held on July 26 and 27, 2024.

This initiative seeks to promote peace in the communities together with the Puerto Rico Police. This year it will be dedicated to Puerto Rican women.

“Grateful to Pastor Julio Cruz for the invitation to this important platform committed to developing actions aimed at solving the problems faced by women in our society as well as improving their quality of life. I have always emphasized that social awareness is the best tool for equality, equity and, above all, for saving lives. We invite you to join this Crusade,” said the acting attorney, Atty. Madeline Bermúdez Sanabria.

The Crusade will leave the municipality of Moca on the first day at 10:00 am and the first stop will be in the Municipality of Arecibo, continuing to the General Headquarters in San Juan where recognitions will be delivered together with the Commissioner of the Police, the Attorney General of Women and legislators of the House of Representatives and the Senate of Puerto Rico.

Then they will leave for the Ponce Letters area, where a vigil will be held with officers and chaplains from the Puerto Rico Police Bureau.

On the morning of Saturday, July 27, the route will continue towards the Mayagüez area and will end in Aguadilla.
